How does a cryolipolysis treatment work?

The cryolipolysis treatment starts with marking the skin that is to be treated. This is done with a special skin marker. After this, a gel pad is placed on this part of the skin. The gel pad is there to protect the skin from the cold. Now the treatment head can be placed. When the freezing of the fat is complete, the treatment head gets removed. After this has been done it is time for the intensive massage. The treatment is finalised when this last step is completed.

What is the duration of a cryolipolysis treatment?

A cryolipolysis treatment takes about 50 minutes. The preparatory steps are not included here. These are the steps: dressing and undressing, marking the skin, placing the treatment heads and the massage. In total you can therefore expect about an hour.

When can I see the first result after fat freezing?

The result can be seen after 6 to 8 weeks after the first treatment. A gradual decrease in fat is visible up to 16 weeks after the treatment.

Does a cryolipolysis treatment have side effects?

The area that has been treated may be a little sensitive after the treatment. You may also experience redness or bruising. This is completely normal and will go away quickly.

What does a treatment feel like?

You will actually only feel the beginning and the end of the treatment. In the first few minutes you will experience a pulling/stinging sensation. This is due to the vacuum and low temperature. After 5 minutes this feeling will disappear and you can continue with other things, such as reading, working or listening to music. A fat freezing treatment is experienced by many as painless.

When can I undergo a cryolipolysis treatment?

You can get a cryolipolysis treatment at the age of 18 years or older. The BMI should be a maximum of 32. The treatment can be performed on both women and men.

Fat cells are permanently removed with a cryolipolysis treatment. This result is permanent. If diet and exercise are not properly followed after treatment, new fat cells can start growing again. To maintain a lasting result, it is therefore important to maintain a healthy lifestyle with a varied diet and sufficient exercise.

When can a cryolipolysis treatment not be performed?

Cryolipolysis should not be performed on people who are severely overweight or obese. Also, cryolipolysis cannot be performed on skin with severe varicose veins or any type of skin injury.

Hele mooie nette clinic en zeer aardige dames die bij rb clinic werken. Alles word goed uitgelegd en wat haalbaar is en wat niet. 2 x de vet bevriezen behandeling gedaan voor de onderkin, na de eerste keer zag ik na 3 weken al resultaat. Ik heb in overleg gekeken of het nog mogelijk was om het nog 1 x te doen om het maximale te behalen. Verder is de behandeling niet pijnlijk bij het begin voelt het een beetje ongemakkelijk maar het gevoel went al na een paar min. Ik zal hier zeker weer terug komen voor een andere behandeling. Laser ontharen is voor mij de beste investering geweest! Hierdoor heb ik al na 3 behandeling een veel gladdere huid en groeien er aanzienlijk minder haren terug op de gebieden die ik behandel. Ik begon in eerste instantie met 1 gebied om het uit te proberen maar omdat ik zeer positief verbaasd was, behandel ik nu 3 gebieden. De behandeling verloopt snel door het type apparaat dat ze gebruiken. Sommige gebieden zijn gevoeliger om te behandelen dan andere gebieden maar over het algemeen is het goed te doen. Ik word altijd op tijd geholpen, de kosten zijn vooraf duidelijk en ze behandelaar is erg vriendelijk. Ik voel me altijd op mijn gemak.
